Fundraising Campaign: In order to process the growing number of quality award candidates, WAFA needs to acquire professional IT software. It will support our Call for Applications and Nominations.

Rebranding Process: The results showcase WAFA’s silent heroes to best advantage.
Re-organization: Our new structure is still volunteer-based. We are also working on raising funds to employ some key staff. Stay tuned!
Award Events: The 2021 Award event, scheduled for Copenhagen towards the end of this year/beginning of 2022 will celebrate our winners’ low-tech, low-cost, high impact solutions.
In 2024, WAFA aims to hold the “Humanitarian Oscars”, in Los Angeles, in 2024
