The WAFA Awards present you with an application form that looks like this (with reservation of last-minute changes)
The next section asks you to tell the story of your initiative in your own words
- We need to know what the situation was like before your started,
- How situation was affecting people there
- What you set out to do
- What you did. How you went about it and what you changed, made or introduced.
- How the situation was changed
The next section asks about the size of the impact. You are welcome to give facts and figures and links to information to support your application.
The net section asks you to consider the WAFA criteria, and relate your initiative to them.
Photos
The last section is the final question and the chance to add pictures. We accept all kinds of formats (.jpeg. .png )
What we are looking for is photos to give us an idea of the situation before the initiative started, how people were being affected, pictures that show your efforts, and some pictures that show end results (people eating, clean air, water flowing, happy people etc.) In other words, at least four photos.
