Burying, burning or storing waste are common methods. They haven’t totally proven effective as waste management solutions. They create dumpsites, environmental degradation, greenhouse gases (GHGs) emission, and contribute to climate change and global warming. The energy and environmental pollution crisis are two important issues of global human concerns and calls for sustainable means of energy production and waste disposal.
The initiative and innovation aims to offer a durable and sustainable solution using one global crisis (waste disposal) to solve another crisis (energy resource depletion) thereby enhancing resource recycling, reducing carbon footprints, curbing climate-induced risks and providing an enabling environment for humans and the ecosystem. The Energine Waste to Energy Machine generates energy as gas, electricity and water from wastes for domestic and industrial use. The domestic phase machine (16090130cm and 75 kg weight) can generate 2-3 cubic meters of gas, 2 kilowatts of electricity and 2.5 liters of water per 10 kg of food wastes daily. It adopts biochemical processes to function which is natural and environmentally friendly.
The Energine Waste to Energy Machine provides durable sustainable solutions to food/organic waste disposal and energy production, reducing carbon footprints and cutting down fossil fuels usage, hence, increasing the renewable energy share. The machine also generates rich organic fertilizers important for soil reinforcement in farming and agricultural activities including
gardening, horticulture and food production.
