University-hosted WIICs represent a strategic step to encourage collaborative partnerships among social entrepreneurs, students; foundations, philanthropists, foundations, impact investors and CSR businesses.
University Partnerships:
University-hosted WIICs represent a strategic step to encourage collaborative partnerships among social entrepreneurs, students, foundations, philanthropists, impact investors and CSR motivated businesses.
WAFA will provide the hosting university:
- A supporting partner, e.g. an impact investor
- Data of sustainable projects for educational purposes
- Eligibility to apply for WAFA’s new University Award after two years’ hosting
WAFA needs from the Hosting University Partner:
- WIIC infrastructure on campus with WIIC and Impact Investor names on signage
- Two research staff
- Up to three research scholarships for WAFA awardees or past applicants
- A one-time inception fee
WIIC Supporting Partnerships
WIICs will provide supporting partners:
- Access to proven, groundbreaking solutions to scale beyond local communities
- Opportunities for corporate volunteer participation and employee relationship building
- Internship opportunities at the WIIC and on site exposure at Awardees’ projects
